WorkFlowy: Note, List, Outline App Reviews

This is the app you want. Easily nest lists, no clutter. Others focus on being pretty. This one focuses on being the most functional.

This app is nice I love Workflowy

I started using Workflowy about 4 years ago. When the app came out, I got super excited! Its perfect because I can make a list of grocery items and pull it up on the app. Its great! No complaints here.

WorkFlowy, the service, is spectacular and I cant recommend it enough. I use it (almost?) daily. As some reviewers note, an email/account is required; but its a Web service, and Ive never had a problem with them abusing the information I share with them. WorkFlowy, the app, however, is another story entirely. Its clunky and difficult to use, and the (nice) icon is easily its aesthetic high point. Cmon, Workflowy, you should be able to do better! This app literally keeps me from using the service more. Heck, Id even *pay* a few dollars to get something decent!

I cant explain just how much I love Workflowy. I use it everyday to organize my entire life but unfortunately I just cant say the same for the app. My favorite thing about the website is how seamless and smooth everything works, but on the mobile app (even using a bluetooth keyboard) the UX is something to be desired. If the app worked better I would give it a 5-star rating for sure.

dont expect it to fully replace the desktop experience right now but still very useful

Every app tries to broaden its scope, and often to its detriment. This is simplicity at its finest.

This tool is pure genius! Its the best thing I found to dump all ideas into "paper", for organizing, planning, writing etc. True, iOS app may not have all features that web app has (functionality you get when you go to their website on a computer), but its getting there, and its one of the most useful / productive tools Ive ran into in my search, trys my dozens of approaches and apps. 1 hint: go to their blog & look @ the ideas there for using this app. They also have a big community of users who post ideas and "shared lists". Enjoy!

Hands down the best outliner available thats cross platform and available everywhere. In terms of the iOS app, the biggest things Im missing are full feature parity with the desktop, and a toolbar that lets you go in and out of nodes without the keyboard coming and going — thats very distracting and hampers usability.

Was recommended by artist friend, havent tried others but this one is giving me the reigns to hold onto my life. Utilizing hashtags and using browser extensions are crucial. Worth the setup learning curve. If only I could stop myself from ever burying 600 notes into the native reminder lists. WorkFlowy lets you export with simple grace, like everything else. Im finally able to journal again without losing my train of thought. Peace!

The app hasnt been updated in a year. It seems like its neglected, which opens the door for a competitor. The iPad app feels like this company no longer makes it a priority. Please allow user to adjust the font size and add other features to make it on par with the web version.

This to do list has literally saved my life. My favorite feature is being able to check if you wrote something down by just typing the word in the search box and everything with that word will come up and its highlighted. Genius! Thank you so much! Dont know what I would do without this todo list xoxo

I use workflowy to organize my personal chores and university projects. It gives me the versatility and order I need.

Almost Perfect. Would need an expande all / collapse all function.

So simple/so minimal/so "efficace": helps me keep my projects organized.

A lot of ideas need a good tool to be stored and organized, I just found the perfect buddy

It just fits for me and I use it every day. I highly recommend it, combining both, creative and structured thinking. An improved iPad version is welcome!
