Nice!!!

Nice for brainstorming, dividing actions into small steps, quick hierarchical lists of ideas, I switch from PC to iPad to phone. I very much like, that in shopping list done positions are "strikethrough".

On its way to be among the best

Workflowy literally allows brain-dumps in the most wonderful and expressive way, lists of lists. Wysiwyg notes with media attachments would make it even better.

Indispensable

For me, Workflowy is an indispensable too for organizing my day and my life. Its beauty is its simplicity. Maybe its just me, but that simplicity totally fits how my mind works. One of my most used apps.

I use it daily

This app takes the fantastic functionality of workflowy.com and makes it easy for a phone. It is a part of my everyday productivity.

Great for all your organizational needs

WF is a very flexible outlining tool that benefits from a robust tagging system. You can find all sorts of guides, hints and tips online to help you use WF effectively and do amazing things. This app is basically a wrapper for the WF website. The iOS version is not as full featured as the WF version run by a desktop browser. This is due to the nature of the touch interface. One star held back as this is not a true iOS app. A true iOS app would allow greater use of gestures to bring this app up to par with the experience found in desktop browsers. WF overall is 10 out of 10 as an organizational tool.

Practically useless with a Bluetooth keybaord

An app like WorkFlowy is a prime candidate to be able to work with an external Bluetooth keyboard. With the release of the iPad Pro, this omission is even more glaring.

Great App!

This is a super simple app to use and sync among multiple devices and desktops. Dont let its simplicity fool you though, this is a powerful app and will be more than enough for most users. Will it do everything for everyone, no, but it will do more than most of us need in our daily personal and work lived. It is easily configurable and just works. Frustrated by the multiple complicated to do list youve tried before? This one is worth a try! Its visually easy on the eyes which I do not find true with about 95% of the list / task managers I have tried...and I have tried many including paid apps that cost A LOT MORE. Between a four and five stars I gave it a 5 but probably closer to 4.5 as Id like to see a few things added like "note" fields a la the old Taskpaper or current Taskmator or multiple tabs.

It Changed My Life

Ive been using Workflowy for almost two years for everything in my life, everyday. I started using Workflowy to organize my work to-dos and quickly started using it to record notes from my meetings, brainstorming sessions, organize conferences and other events, jot down ideas, everything. I also started using it to organize my personal life, every bring from to-dos to shopping lists, ideas, travel plans, quotes, recipes, book suggestions, everything. Very quickly I started going to Workflowy to record any kind of information at anytime to the point where it became an extension of myself. Now I also use it to organize my research, write articles, poems, structure future projects, etc. Got it? I use it for everything. The only caveat is that for the past six months, I havent been able to use the iPhone app offline which is a really problem for me as I am traveling around the world and dont have regular access to the Internet. The developers have yet to fix this issue.

My favorite app!

I love this app so much. Simple yet so powerful, flexible, and well made. It really does help organize my brain better than anything else. I love having one list synced between my phone and laptop. Thank you for making this!

Fantastic

What a great app! So so useful for me for all my work notes that I need to keep track of on so many various projects and topics, even my personal shopping list. Couldnt be easier to use and its as simple or rich as you need it to be.

Super simple, intuitive app

I use this list app as a way of keeping all the things I have to remember organized. The tags you can add make it easily searchable, and so long as you can use and stick to an organization scheme, it is great.

Use almost every day

Its simple but very powerful. An almost perfect interface to whip up endlessly nested lists, organize them, and search for exactly what you need. You can even collaborate with others on a branch of your list. And if youre worried about trusting your precious thoughts and inspiration to an untrusted app, dont even think about it. Everything you type into it can be saved to Dropbox, or automatically emailed to yourself for backup. If youre on the fence about trying it or some other list app, dont even think about it, this is the one. And when youre on your desktop machine, you get the exact same interface in their web app. All free.

Offline mode is the best

Ive used this app regularly for a few years. I love that you can add and review items both online and off. I wish there was internet everywhere, but alas, offline mode makes it simple to see all your lists wherever.

Only organization app I keep coming back to

This is my second review for Workflowy. I thought that my needs had become more sophisticated than this app so I wondered off and tried some others on top the dozens of personal organization apps I have. I even went as far as buying a couple of outliner and mind map apps. On those alone I spent over $150, that’s three years worth of Workflowy. Even after all that there’s something about the simplicity of Workflowy that I keep wishing for in others apps and that’s why I’ve come back to it again and will stay with it.

Nice but...

I cant figure out how to start several NEW lists! Help!

Great for tracking names

Workflowy is great at tracking names and relationships at multiple companies. I am a consultant who has to keep track of people at hundreds of companies. I need to quickly find individuals and their relationships inside their company as opportunities arise. Workflowys simple interface and powerful search functions allows quick entry and access to help me remember names of people I met once months ago.

The best outliner, anywhere, by far

Im a long-time outliner user (especially fond of OmniOutliner, back to the version bundled by Apple with OS X 10.3). Workflowys single, global, infinitely zoomable document; its rich and fast tags and search; and its live synchronization across many platforms and clients, including sharing sub trees between collaborating users, is a radical step beyond any outliner I have seen before, on any platform, let alone nearly all. Id love to see a richer native app for iOS, but even as it is the service is so profoundly powerful and useful that I rely on it for hours a day.

Extremely unstable latest release

Long-time (subscribing) user of this App; the latest version crashes perpetually when editing nodes. Ive literally needed to restart the App three times in the past five minutes, and Im editing different parts of my outline. Ive subscribed to Workflowy for several years, but the feature stagnation and increasingly unstable iOS App have me seriously considering Omni.
