I couldnt live without it

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo da Vinci

Update needes

I depend heavily on this (web) application for my daily work and i pay for it. I have to use it mostly on the Desktop though, because the mobile version is good for reading notes but bad for taking and sharing them. It is just a web view. It seems impossible to share a tree structure or even copy and paste it. Other things are lacking, too. Not really adapted for mobile use. Also the development on the web application seems to have stopped - no updates here, too.

I like the minimalistic approach

But the inability to set font size is a *GLARING* omission. And yeah, that knocks off 2 stars.

Something is broken

Love this app but after reinstalling today it seems to be broken. Downloads fine from the app store but hangs on attempting to open it, rendering it completely unusable. Support link allows sign in but no support functions. iphone 5s | iOS 9.3.2

If I could marry an app!

This app is the only one for me. Im finished my search for the ultimate productivity tool and Ive decluttered my devices now that Ive found my one and only. Dont be deceived at first glance by Flowys lack of fancy bells and whistles. This is a powerhouse tool. Be warned, once you get Flowy, youll kiss the others goodbye!

Simple, intuitive and powerful

You might think a simple outliner wouldnt be that useful, but Workflowy is more powerful than it might at first seem. Check out the Workflowy blog for tips on how to use it in ways you might not imagine at first. I use it mostly on the web with a computer, but the IOS app is great for mobile use. Works seamlessly with the web version when you are online, & even if youre not you can work offline & it will sync up as soon as youre back online. Very happy with this overall!

Simple & Effective

Ive tried so many list and TO DO apps and this one may be the winner for me. Bullet lists that can be expanded (or not) is a great system. Can be as simple or as complex as needed. I also appreciate the email updates that serve as reminder to the recent changes made.

Suffers in usability area

The idea and website are great and I used it a lot. But implementation of the mobile app is very basic. The app is not great for usability point of view - this was the main reason I finally stopped using Workflowy at all and switched to Things.

Solid app, great service

The app is good, but the web is better. I do my work on the desktop and use the app for reference. It works great for that purpose.

It is not as good as desktop version

First of all I pay for this app for Pro account and will continue to do so because I like it in desktop. But is it too much to ask for the mobile versions to be as good as the desktop one? Is it not feasible to switch to a native app on mobile? I literally cry when I cannot move stuff around as easily as the desktop version.

My weapon against procrastination

Too sad cant rate 10 stars

Great app!

Simplicity rules! The best for GTD! It replaced Omnifocus, which was #1 for me a couple of years.

Workflowy is amazing -- but the iPad app is terrible

Workflow is so great and amazing, but this iPad app is not even close to the web app experience, especially when using an external keyboard. You have to constantly stop typing and reach out and tap something because none of the keyboard shortcuts from the web app work on the iPad app. Its okay for just looking at your notes, but for editing / writing in workflowy its pretty useless. Id give it 2 stars, but Im giving it 1 because I want Workflowy to pay attention and change it.

Great app!

This app does some simple and very intuitive things extremely well. Im using the app every day and finding ever more uses for it. So far: todo lists, lecture notes, project outlines. The collaboration feature intrigues me, and Im sure to find a good use for that as well. Rock solid, no hiccups. Great job, folks!

Very good

Elegant, minimalist and stable.

Best Organizer Ive found

Does everything it needs to with no fluff. I was using OmniFocus but you can quickly get bogged down in tedious details. Workflowy keeps it simple and still has every feature I could need

Great website, unusable iOS app

The app is unusable in its current form. Its almost impossible to use it to look up information because it constantly enters edit mode. Just scrolling through the list brings up the keyboard and blocks you from being able to view half the screen because it always thinks youre trying to edit items when all you want to do is search and view. Just trying to navigate through the list often results in accidental modifications to the list. The keyboard constantly pops up, when youre trying to just view your list. The app badly needs a view only mode.

Getting close....

A few reasonable things that would make this app better: - Make the top status bar of iOS visible within the app—so I can see what time it is while using workflowy. - make starred pages choosable. Maybe by swiping left or right across the whole screen?

App getting a bit long in the tooth

The WorkFlowy system itself is phenomenal, however the iOS app has been neglected for feature releases for years now. Updates to fix bugs are great and theyre much appreciated but even simple features included in the web version like dark mode (a feature that Ive been personally waiting on for a good while) havent made it to iOS. Because of this, Im going to be keeping my eye out for a replacement outlining app, but I will definitely keep following this for updates; I love the simple minimalism of the WorkFlowy setup. Just wish theyd show some love for iOS.

Disappointed

I downloaded this app yesterday, I typed somethings this morning. Instantly lost everything. Deleted instantly.
